REPRESENTATIVE OF ELECTRIC CRANE IN TURKEY - TEVİD

Electric Crane Manufacturers' Association (TEVİD) for factories, workshops, ports, shipyards, aircraft hangars, mines, etc. places, iron and steel, mining, automotive, machinery manufacturing, logistics, mining, etc. was established in 2010 by the collaboration of leading companies located in Turkey specialized in the manufacturing of lifting and transport vehicles, also known as electric cranes, serving various sectors.

TEVİD's foundation objectives are to combat lack of supervision, which is a serious issue in the crane industry as a part of the machinery manufacturing sector; to ensure the establisment of manufacturing, aftersales services and competition conditions in accordance with domestic and international standards and make them equal for all players in the market, helping our Association Member manufacturers in inclusion in the supplier lists of companies locally and internationally, to support domestic manufacturers' efforts to become world brands, to establish and develop relationships, contacts and collaborations with overseas international institutions and organizations, to gather all local manufacturers under the same organisation and providing coordination, support, cooperation with the understanding of "Strength in Unity", to provide guidance services on legal, social, technical and professional issues to all relevant organizations, especially to its members, on sector-related issues; establishing working groups etc. within the association to solve the issues of our members and the sector, to evaluate and develop member and sector inputs/advices.

TEViD, in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education and relevant organizations, it organizes seminars to increase the professional knowledge of its members, member companies and employees in the sector and to share and disseminate this information.

TEViD was the founding member of the Machinery Industry Sector Platform (MSSP) in 2012 as well as the Turkish Machinery Federation (MAKFED), which was established as a result of joint work on MSSP. Additionally, it has published the book "ELECTRIC CRANE BOOK - Practical Information", which is on the agenda to be updated in 2024 and still does not have a more comprehensive example, and made it available to its members, crane users, public officials, in short, crane industry stakeholders. In this book, definition, types, classification of electric hoists, sample offer request forms, manufacturing regulations and testing procedures, warranty conditions, safety, maintenance, etc. Important information has been shared. It is an important reference source especially for users who will buy a new crane.

TEViD members follows the developments in the crane and machinery manufacturing sectors, getting ready thru developments and updates for issues such as Artificial Intelligence, Green Transformation and the Internet of Things, which have been on the agenda of recent years.
