History
Özarar Kaldırma Makinaları Sanayi (Özarar Hoist & Crane Inc.) was established in 1959 inside the city limits of İstanbul by Mithat Özarar as a an engineering firm building steel construction and providing crane services for the industrial market. The company later on started manufacturing cranes in order to meet the needs of developing Turkish industry in 1968. Due to expansion of its production program and extraordinary service in Turkish industry during following years, the company received an outstanding success award by Turkish Prime Minister in 1980. After opening the 2nd factory in 2007, Özarar Hoist & Crane Inc. now serves to 3 different continents for the global industrial market.

Our aim has always been to reach out and catch the best in engineering, production and services with the efforts and contributions of our distinguished staff. Products delivered using high quality practices and the best technology, all in accordance with the international standards, have found wide area of use in the industrial market.
Our company has achieved superior success by transferring knowledge and experience from generation to generation, with its well-trained expert employees, serving global market starting domestically and later expanding internationally. We are determined to continue this concept that we have created for our company. Our aim is to transfer knowledge and experience to our products in order to ensure that everybody can become efficiently more productive without needing much effort.

With our ISO 9001: 2000 quality system management certificate taken under the supervision of American Systems Registrar and CE certificate under the supervision of Breu Veritas, we continue our business aiming for more quality and more safety together with the trust of our customers. From the day it was founded, Özarar has always targeted for quality production and customer satisfaction. Besides our standard crane and lifting equipment production, our special project production (designed per demands and needs of our customers) is also always guaranteed with Özarar quality.
